Marbella
is a city in Andalusia, Spain, by the Mediterranean, situated in the
province of Málaga, Marbella has over 130.000 inhabitants. Marbella is
well known by the jet set of Europe. Many visit Marbella's famous Puerto Banus, were you can find a nice port with exclusive boats and shops.
Puerto Banus is definitely a place to visit during you holidays.
On the East side of Marbella, you will find for example the towns like Cabopino, Elviria and el Rosario. You will find beautiful resorts and hotels close to the beache or if golf is attracting you more, you will find many hotels and resorts close to golf courses. Are you not looking for a beach or golf holiday, Marbella can also offer you an active vacation. The mountain range La Concha (the Shell) is worth a visit.
The first fortnight of June, Marbella celebrates the San Bernabe Fair. The most important day is June the 11th, featuring the Commemoration of the Christian Conquest. This celebration, in the centre of Marbella includes bullfights and performances by famous singers and groups.
Directions to Hotel Artola Golf
From Málaga, take the Algeciras-Cadiz road (the A7). When the road splits close to Fuengirola take the A7 (exit 214).
Do NOT take the AP7 Peaje which is the toll road. Keeping on the A7 you will pass Fuengirola, Calahonda and Cabopino. Just as you pass the sign for Cabopino, you will see the hotel on the left hand side.
Exit the motorway at a sign on the right for Las Chapas. We are situated at KM194. Go over the bridge here and turn left – going back on yourself and re-joining the A7. Exit the road after 300 metres on the right hand side. Welcome to the Hotel Artola.
